Unable to download purchased movies

Hello,

I need urgent advise here. I just purchased a movie for my children from itunes store on my iPad. I clicked on the price for the HD, then entered my username and password, and then i was brought to a download page on the itunes store apps. However, there's the icon of the movies that i purchased, but it only says "Waiting", and it has been for 3 hours without any improvement whether it finally downloaded the movie to my ipad.

I tried to sync my ipad to my macbook, to see whether it'll help download the movies, but it didnt help at all. I also tried to reset my iPad, and when it turned on, then it still says "waiting".

If i really can't download it, then i'll waste 16 euros for nothing. Hope there's a solution for this situation.

Please help. I use iPad one, with iOS 5, and MacbookPro using Lion and the latest itunes version, and itunes store in finland.

Turn off your ipad.

Open itunes on your computer.

Click Store>Check for Available Downloads

This should download it on your computer. You can then sync it to yout ipad.

All, I'm sure this solution works.

But if you bought a new car and found out the front right door won't open, would you accept your dealer telling you to use the front left door to get in the right front seat?

So if I need a computer to make the downloading of the purchased content and then sync it to the iPad, what is the reason of beeing able to rent and buy movies mdirectly in the iPad, and for me that will not have my computer for some weeks, how will i get my content that I rent downloaded to my iPad ? Any suggestion ? I have tried everything....

Sorry, doesn't work for me. Because of this I downloaded the film a second time on the Mac and tried to sync with the iPad but now it's been deleted from the Mac and the iPad is still "waiting".

Hello, I kinda have the same problem, though I purchased movie on my laptop (windows 7). I purchased movie 3 days ago, and can't download it. It alway says err-50. Can someone help me out. I tried everything they said to do on itunes support but I still can't download movie. Thank you.

For some reason I am unable to play a downloaded movie which I purchased from iTunes store. I find it when I click on Videos icon but when I try to play I get a message "The requested URL is not found on this server" . I tried to download it again but only get to 192 kb out of 800 mb file. It all worked fine at the Apple stored when they reset my iPad but now that I am on vacation in Hawaii I cannot watch my movie. Any advice? I have an original iPad.
