Differences in installESD.dmg?

Hello, I was wondering how many flavors of Mac OS X 10.7.2 there are and what the differences are therein?

I have a small lab at my disposal, I've extracted the InstallEDS.dmg by following instructions from AFP548's page from the following models over the past few days:

MacBookPro8,2, MacBookAir 4,2, MacPro5,1, MacBook5,1, and iMac12,3.

I figured the quickest way to determine any differences was to compare their MD5 checksums (from terminal type: md5 [location/to/installEDS.dmg]

This is what I found:

MacBookPro8,2

MD5 (/Volumes/Test/Mac OS X Install Data/InstallESD.dmg) = 412cee9c4c77c04c9c8489c363a7e2e4

MacBookAir 4,2

MD5 (/Volumes/Test/Mac OS X Install Data/InstallESD.dmg) = 412cee9c4c77c04c9c8489c363a7e2e4

MacPro5,1

MD5 (/Volumes/Test/Mac OS X Install Data/InstallESD.dmg) = 5a8bc4c636f35c855250c7b5508ae7a5

MacBook5,1

MD5 (/Volumes/Test/Mac OS X Install Data/InstallESD.dmg) = 5a8bc4c636f35c855250c7b5508ae7a5

iMac12,3

MD5 (/Volumes/Test/Mac OS X Install Data/InstallESD.dmg) = 5a8bc4c636f35c855250c7b5508ae7a5

Likewise I compared the installESD.dmg from my App store purchase.

AppStore download:

MacBook5,1

MD5 (/Users/[user]/Desktop/10.7.2/Install Mac OS X Lion.app/Contents/SharedSupport/InstallESD.dmg) = 5a8bc4c636f35c855250c7b5508ae7a5

How many variants of Mac OS X 10.7.2 are there and what is the difference between the images?

Thank you!

I suspect there is only one OS X 10.7, but hardware drivers may be exclusive to each download, or grouped together, resulting in the differences in the downloads.

Sort of like the "grey disk" exclusiveness to a particular Mac model.
