I can not get my Epson Stylus NX430 to install. Can anyone help.

I tryed installing the software from Epson. It seemed to install, but when I tried to add the printer, the MacBook Pro tried to install a softwear update. Apple said that there wasn't a driver update avalable.

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.2)

Try disconnecting the Mac from the Internet first and then try adding the printer. It will still try to find a driver via Software Update when you select the printer in Print & Scan but after trying and failing to connect, it should then give you the option of opening the Print Using menu and clicking "Select printer software". Here you should be able to browse to the Epson driver.
