How do I change my iCloud account on my iPhone

I am having the same problem!! My account name is correct when I go into iTunes & App Store, but I can't change it for iCloud because it won't let my delete the old account without the password, but that account doesn't exist anymore either. Someone please help us out.

i went into my icloud account and my current password worked and i just logged in deleted the account and then re opened it with current info and havnt had a problem since so i guess they seen this post and fixed it or something? thanks, hope they help this other guy with the same issue as weel

I just tried doing this, and I'm unable to log into my iCloud account. I've tried numerous suggestions on these boards and nothing has worked. I will call Apple or visit an Apple store.

Got the same problem as dbpersonaltrainer and artcannon deleted my old email account as it was no longer active and now I cant change it in my iphone 4. It shows the old email account and my password doesnt work and ofc I cannot delete the account etc.

I tried again to delete the old account and strangly enough my password for my new account worked like dbpersonaltrainer said. I tried this everyday with no luck, and I guess someone did see this post and correct the problem. Thanks for listening tech team.

I changed my email address on all my other Apple ID needs, but becuase I changed my email my old iCloud account (with my old Apple ID) is displayed grey and won't allow me to delete it. My old account name is not communicating with my new password and ID. What do I do?

I was using someone else's account for icloud when I first got my phone, but would now like to switch to mine. I don't have the password for the account that is stuck on my phone. Is there any way to change the icloud account without the password for the old one? I've tried deleting that account, but you need the password for that too...

That is probably because you are running iOS 7. If you don't know the password to the Apple ID that is signed onto the iCloud account, then the only other option is to have the phone wiped by the person who has that phone signed onto their iCloud account, using Find My iPhone to do so.

This is a security measure to prevent would-be thieves from being able to use your phone if it is stolen. There is no way to delete the iCloud account without turning off Find My iPhone. There is no way to turn off Find My iPhone without knowing the password to the Apple/iCloud/iTunes ID that is signed onto iCloud.

I changed my Apple ID email and I was able to change the account on my iPhone however when I try to change/delete my account on my ipad I keep getting n message for me to put in my password for my old account and when I do it says my account is wrong and won't let me delete my account!!!! I know the email that is on my ipad is wrong but it won't let me change it. Any help would be great.

I am having the same issue is everyone else except mine is the ultimate worst case... I have a different icloud acount i want to use then the one that is attached to my phone. I do not have the password to the one that is attached to my phone. Therefore, I can not delete it nor whipe the phone. What do I do? Im stuck with this icloud on my phone?!
