Printing through Remote Desktop Connection

I am new to Mac's and have to say loving it, however I have a problem. I am operating on OS 10.7.2 Lion and have Microsoft Office 2011 installed on it, when I connect to the remote desktop to a windows 2008 server, my printer will not allow me to print from the correct tray. My Printer is a Ricoh Aficio SCP231SF. When I print direct from the Mac it allows me to chose which tray I want as the source, however, when I chose a tray throught remote desktop it disregards it and insists on printing from tray 1.

I would really appreciate any help or guidance, oh and for the record I'm not that technically minded, so please easy answers :-)
