I had the Siri assistance app for a year now , downloaded the new iOS5 on my Iphone 4 and now my app erros out with and error accurred with response from sever ? Any ideas why ? what are my options to resolve this problem.

PJ, for some reason (not made known to all of us who used that app), they decided to turn it foo when they added the fuller version to the iPhone 4s.
I'd suggest you post feedback to Apple about this to:

I've downloaded Vlingo--a free, semi-featured voice app, but it's not the same... Maybe if we get enough SA users to leave notes, we'll get some attention!
Unfortunately Siri app no longer works on previous models, only on the iphone 4S as of now. The siri app stopped working since October 15th. If you really want Siri voice assistent, then you will have to upgrade to the iphone 4S or just wait until next generation.
