Ok so i had this random thought if i had a broken ipad 2 or iphone 4s and i took the A5 processor out of it could i put it in the iphone 4? i figured it would be just like a computer replacing processors but i could be wrong idk i have never done anything like this to a apple product

Oh i see i didnt know that they way it looked is that its like a chip that pluged into a socket but thank you that helped out a lot
You might be able to heat the solder and take the A5 Processor out with tweezers or something, hope it helps!
Sounds like a great way to create a brick.
Even if the processor is swapped out, there is no way to guarantee that iOS will not freak out due to the specs being out of the norm.
