I can't open Safari.
I tried trashing the com.apple.Safari.plist file, but it hasn't helped. Any ideas?

Try starting your computer in safe mode (holding down the shift key while restarting) then launch Safari and then click on the Safari menu item then select reset Safari.
I tried restarting in safe mode and launching Safari like you said, but it won't open Safari at all. I get the message: Safari quit unexpectedly. Click reopen to open the application again. Click report to see more detailed information and send a report to Apple.
I've done all of the above and nothing happens. Safari will not open. Now my mail won't open either. I'm wondering if it's a virus?
Take a look at this link, http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1594
I've tried most of it, and nothing seems to help. I can't open Safari at all, and some of the things it says to do involves opening Safari to reset it or change something. I'm still pretty new to the Mac, so it's confusing for me. I love my Mac, but at least I knew how to fix my PC. LOL I've seen other people pasting their crash report, so I'll do that and see if it helps. I'll post it in a new message. Thanks for your help!
