Q: restore from icloud

I have the same question. I erased a lot of images from my ipad. I have a backup in icloud. How do I restore from icloud without resetting all?

If you want to restore your iPad from an iCloud backup - You have to erase the device in order to do so. If you rely on the iCloud backups, the only way to access those backups is by erasing all content and settings on your iPad and starting all over again.

first you right click on the ipad (on the left in itunes): restore from backup.

It will restore to factory ALL data anda apps

At some point it will offer restoration from itunes, but you will only see backups made on your computer.

If you wish to restore from icloud you forget itunes on your computer, go to the ipad and follow the instructions. At some point you will be asked to choose from icolud or confgiure it as a new ipad.

WWhy did you reset it from Find My iPhone? Take it into the Apple Store.

Reset the iPhone:

- Hold the home button and sleep/wake button down at the same time. As soon as the iPhone powers off release both buttons.

Now restore the iPhone in recovery mode:

After restore to factory settings is complete you then restore from iCloud/iTunes back up (depending on what you have):
