How can I export my iMac address book and the iCloud or iPhone address book?

Nobody has responded to my threads I've posted about discrepancies between my iMac address book and the Cloud. So I'm ready to try the next option which is to manually compare the differences and then I'll add the addresses to my cloud that are presently only on my iMac. I'm a data geek so it shouldn't be hard to do the comparison but when I tried last night to export my iMac address book it looked like I could only export it in a format readable by the address book program. I need it in a format that I can load it into another software program like MS Access.

Please help.
