Please help!  I am having a repetative issue now with trying to update apps from the app store on my iPhone.  It keeps telling me the Apple id is not verified and click the link, etc.  When I do, it says it will send a "verification email".  I've now done this about 10+ times and never get an email.  Also, I have tried changing passwords etc.  I have 2 email addresses an @me and a generic gmail, hotmail etc.  I still never get the email.  Should I just call support or does anyone out there have any clue.  I've downloaded new apps, etc, since then but it won't update simply because of the ID, it makes zero sense and I am getting very frustrated...

    You can also verify by signing in at My Apple ID. You'll receive an email prompting you to verify.

    Problem is, it keeps saying that I have already verified the ID, but I still can't update anything...and I never do get the email.

    Same here! Exact same thing. To check my Apple ID I even added a secondary email to my account, verified that and am still getting the verify message in the App store. I did finally get a couple of verification emails but the verification process fails with obscure error messages (reminds me of windows, unfortunately).

    I have the same exact problem, Did the exact same things to fix.Apple, Please solve this for us. I heard that Angry Birds has a new bird but i can't update the game because of this problem!!!!

    I am having exact same issue mentioned above!! Never get email for verification 

    Exact same. I enter the Apple ID and password and then it says, "This email address is already in use or you may already have an Apple ID associated with this email address. Please try again or sign in using your existing Apple ID." Yes... it's already in us BY ME! I'm trying to validate!!!

    I am new on MAC, I have just decided to move to a MacBook Air and after I click in the link to confirm my registration and in the apple id confirmation wedsite I inset my appleID and password the system answer the same thing: Your apple ID is in use ! Who is using, it is my first time !!! I will move back to my windows laptop !! A simple registration is not working ! Somebody could help me ?

    I too am having a hard time. I have a MBPro and a MBAir. The Air is the latest purchase. Both are registered with Apple. My problem is that I can no longer update several programs on the MBP, which was the computer where I originally purchased the items from the App Store. It shows them listed in the "update" location or in the purchases location showing the "update" button. When I try to update them it comes back and tells me that it is not the original account. This is very recent and for the life of me I cannot figure out where the problem has come from. I checked the ID via the store and they are exactly the same.


    Very frustrating. I don't like the app store because there is no way apps I already own can be brought under the umbrella for updates and there is no way to demo an app! The store is a good idea but they need to find resolution to those two problems. Some developers no longer offer demos at their site because all runs through the store. Don't object to monopolies if they are at least benevolent ;-)


    Help really needed with this ID thing - it impacts both free programs and purchased ones. For example, one of the programs is Byword. I wrote the developer and was told I can have up to 5 Macs using the same program (great support staff there, by the way! Top notch and prompt), so there is no problem with the license on that one and it is through the store I got it on both of my computers. It is blocked. Same with Kindle app.

    I am having the same problem. This is ridiculous. I've spent hours trying to fix this, and hours on the phone about this. It's an infinite loop of sending verification emails, clicking on the verification link, entering my password, being told it's in use, being told to verify, sending email......

    WHAT SHOULD I DO? This problem is not in apple help section. They just tell me to do the same thing that is already not working!

    I'm relieved to see that I am NOT the only one dealing with this headache! This verification email nonsense has made the last 24 hours a nightmare! It's so frustrating. If anyone finds a resolution to this, please, please, PLEASE let us know!

    well I guess it's safe to say that I'm having the exact same problem.  What I'm wondering about is ............. is anyone even reading these posts?  A simple "we're checking into things" would be appreciated.

    I just had the same problem last nigth trying to verify my account!!! so i decided to try a new email and created a "gmail" and use it as an apple ID sooo i recived the email quickly and verify the email (gmail) adress and now i can use it. The email I was trying to verify was a yahoo one soooooo I guess the problem is with yahoo server!! if you have the same problem and you are trying to use a yahoo email I recomend to you guys to create and try a gmail account. I hope this can help!!....

    I just got my iphone today and just wanting to download some apps and am getting the same error message about my email address already being in use. I have a account which i dont use but put it in as my Apple ID as using my normal hotmail address wasnt working, verified it on the computer but my iphone is still refusing to cooperate!!! If i create a new account it will have to be associated with my hotmail account because it's the only email I have. Frustrated!!!
