i have purchased songs recently and some won't covert to mp3

I have just purchased an album from i-tunes and two tracks won't covert to mp3s I'm using Lion and the latest i-tunes. never had this problem before, the tracks start but stop with an error -3 whatever that is. also thought about downloading again but they don't appear in the i-cloud, whereas previous purchases do? any ideas gratefully received
