Battery Drain with iOS5

Is anyone having battery drain issues since installing iOS5?

Yes. I bought a iPhone 4S from sprint and my battery is horrible. Light usage will go down from 100% to 96% in 5 minutes. and that's just sending few texts and doing this. I turned off everything I don't use but still won't work . My phone also gets warm from the back and the side were the sim card is at. I wonder if it's just a glitch in ios 5 and hopefully patch it in 5.0.1 or else I'm going back and returning my phone for a new one or different one

Try turning off Setting Time Zone.

"Setting Time Zone" is found under:

Settings/Location Services/System Services.

I tried a couple of the different "fixes" that I found after searching some different forums. What seems to work the best for me was to a) delete my email account from the iPhone, b) reset network settings, and then c)restore my email account on the phone.

It's made a major improvement in the battery's run down time.

I would highly recommend what pfrohwein said, and Apple is investigating the battery issues and reportedly working to find a solution for it. All we can do is wait.
