The iSight Camera on my macbook isn't working.

I had the similar issue, hard reboot only worked. Reboot also took lot of time..

recent update to OSX.. may be..

Apple Support.. need udpate.. whats going on..

suggestions do not help you, continue with the following.

• Use Disk Utility to repair permissions and then

download and apply the latest Combo Update

( If other OS X, search for it here: http://tinyurl.com/4x3eca4 )

• Repair permissions again immediately following the system restart

that completes the Combo update.

You can also just Force Quit the app pr wherever it is your camera isn't working...

1. Open the app

2. On your keyboard press Command, Alt, Esc

3. Force Quit the app

Hope it works!!!
