I believe it has been determined that the problem is on Apples side. They need to beef up Siri's servers to accomodate the huge load everyone has placed on it. Apparently Siri was a lot more popular than they thought. I have had this problem many times and I just wait it out and within a few minutes it has always come back. I tried all the "restarting" this and that but it won't matter if it is on Apples side, no matter HOW many times you reboot your iphone.

Keep giving it a try and eventually it will work. None of these interruptions last long (thankfully!).

I am having the same problem also. Got my iPhone last week and Siri worked fine up until a few hours ago...I saw this posted in another thread...worth a shot. I haven't tried it yet though...

"Well, after seeing my wife's iPhone work just fine with Siri while mine continued to experience network issues as well, I decided this wasn't a server issue. I found lots of tips on this forum that did not work, however an old iPad trick did work.

I cleared out the multi-tasking bar (when you double tap the home button), turned off the phone and back on again and it works like a champ."
