I have a 32G iPod Touch from 2009 running 4.2.1, and an iMac running the latest OS Lion, and a MobileMe account. I have NOT moved to iCloud yet, but will have to do something next summer. My question is this- Will I still be able to use my Mail on my iPod Touch (4.2.1) or will I need top get a new mobile device (iPod Touch or iPad with iOS5)?

Thanks. I gues my specific question is, what will happen if i change NOW, and try to use my iMac with iCloud (and not MobileMe?), and my old iPod (with MobileMe?) at the same time?

If you want to keep email working on your devices, go to me.com/move from your computer, choose the option to keep using your email after MobileMe ends, and follow the steps. If your devices meet system requirements, you'll also be able to access all of the iCloud features after June 30, 2012, but only on your compatible devices.

I don't think the old iPod Touch (4.2.1 os) mail app is recognized as "iCloud Mail"
Any further pointer welcome -- particularly from anyone actually using an iPod Touch 2nd Gen with OS 4.2.1 successfully to check Apple email.
