iDVD alternatives

I bought an iMac specifically for iLife. What was my surprise when I finished a video with a iMovie and then I could not burn a DVD... iDVD missing.

I called Apple support and they told me that they have discontinued iDVD because "people started to do these HD videos" (what?). I was very disappointed. He gave me some alternatives (not free) to burn a DVD: dvd-creator, moviegate... So my guess is that I will have to look for an alternative to iDVD.

Any recomendation?

DVDStyler is OK as a free open source app

Toast is second to none and there is always coupon codes knocking around on the internet through a good search, i got 60% off my toast and it tastes good, also burn's Blu-Ray

To my amazement you can still buy the boxed iLife '11 with iDVD and iWeb on the Apple Store website
