Anyone, help...please

I have had this problem start about three days ago (Jan. 25th). When I turned off my iPod for my French class, it did. But then later, I hear some loud music coming from somewhere. I look around, and its not from anyone. I glance down, and my iPod is on! My headphones are blasting the music, and I remove it from my belt clip to turn it off. Strange. It's playing a different playlist from when I turned it off, 3 minutes ago! I was playing some pop, and now its playing rap! I turn it off, and the day goes.

The next day, I leave my iPod on my table while I do some chatting on MSN. Suddenly, I hear whirl of a hard drive. It's not my computer, it sounds like something from an iPod...I look over, and its on! It already played through 6 songs on my rap playlist and was to re-load its cache, on its 7th song. I turn it off, and nothing happens later on.

The very next day, I come from my kitchen after having some pizza for lunch, lean down and turn my computer on. I suddenly hear a whirl of hard drive, the same sound. I look to my iPod, and its on its 7th song, about to re-load its cache, agian. It's playing a different set of songs, and the same playlist as yesterday, but different songs. It looks as if it re-loaded the same rap playlist and started playing it, in diffrent orders. (I have shuffle songs on) It used up about half of battery capacity since 3 days ago, and I'm afraid that it will turn on at middle of night or in middle of a class and drain the battery. Anyone have solution?
