What is the size of your book? Each page will be one Din-A4 page? Or do you want two pages of the book side by side on one Din-A4 page?

If you print your book on a printer that can print two sided, then your exported pdf can be printed with the layout generated by Aperture, even if Adobe pdf only displays single pages.

The print layout has to be defined in the print dialogue.

Set the selector marked by a long line to "Layout" and then specify your arrangement of pages, like this: Select the oriention (landscape or vertical), the number of pages per sheet, their arrangement, twosided: Here is an example

Thanks for the reply. .the answer is pretty close already . I am trying to do the final layout of 2 images spread out on A4 paper Side by Side stitching together for folding into half later. The back panel will be the blank side which will be stick on another page . This is a normal binding method use to make a coffee table photobook or layflat photobook which has a very flat surface when you open the photobook. This method of binding can be found in youtube by Fastbind company where they will stick all the pages on one side which is left empty and later a hardcover will be use to bind the whole booklet.

I try using Mac "Preview" and set the preference "Layout" to 2 pages and it manage to arrange 2 pages together on one A4 page but they are not stitching together or how should i put it, it leaves no gap in between the page.

I don't think you will be able to convince Preview to combine the left and right pages gapless.

So your best bet would be to create a pdf in Aperture, that has the correct two-page layout, when you export the book-pdf from Aperture.

The following might work:

When you export your book define a custom paper size that is exactly the size of two pages of your open book. That you define in the "Manage Custom Sizes"-entry of the "Paper Size" selector of the Print panel.

Then set the layout to two pages per sheet and print to pdf.

That should give you a pdf with two pages combined.

I have give a several try to your new instruction but the gap is there no matter how i set the paper size. I gave an example of this page layout of 2.5in x 2.5 in . If i read your article correctly , my total page size is suppose to be 5inx5in.

Just look at the image and i had try out 2 custom setting in the paper size . You will notice the difference of these two layout after i open the preview for PDF.

the first one, the paper size remain as original as it is (2.5inx2.5in per page) .The image is pretty close side by side but the gap can still noticeable.

The second image is using your instructions earlier (When you export your book define a custom paper size that is exactly the size of two pages of your open book. That you define in the "Manage Custom Sizes"-entry of the "Paper Size" selector of the Print panel) - the result = it shrank to smaller size and left a huge gap in between those image. The paper size was set as 5inx5in per page.

I am sorry to hear that that did not work.

If your images are to be printed as 2.5 x 2.5 - then the custom page size should be 5 x 2.5 - not 5x5, and the number of images per page set to 2, and all margins set to zero.

It used to work for perfectly. I hope somebody else on the forum has an idea what might be the problem that it does not work for you.

Thanks leonieDF. That's the best effort and answer you had provided so far and i began to see the structural workflow of the output. After have set the layout size for the page 5inx2.5in, the result is quite obvious now but the image just don't seem to connect to each other after this attempt.

Using Layout: (Aperture instead of 2 Page layout) seem to be the closest goal as you could see the image is now on the left side , only thing is that the next image is render on another page follows by the subsequent.
