Feb 9, 2013 11:29 PM in response to schearnrwuiby rgstacy,★HelpfulHad similar issue here, and the rogmill suggestion didn't help.
Instead, I uninstalled and reinstalled the iCloud control panel. On reinstallation, it set up the features in Outlook, and all is now working as it should.

Mar 19, 2013 7:55 AM in response to schearnrwuiby catuck,★HelpfulThank you Rogmill! It worked - however I have Office 2007 and the add-in option is available through Tools, Trust Center, Add-ins. the iCloud Outlook Add-in was listed under Disabled. I went down to Manage, selected Disabled items from the drop down menu, then hit go... It's pretty clear from there what to do but now my calendar syncs!

Nov 15, 2013 4:01 AM in response to schearnrwuiby bullebak,I am still having problems as well. I am running Outlook 2010 in Windows 7. I tried everything suggested by all people on this thread, no luck. I even went through all the troubleshooting tips suggested by Apple, but none of those worked as well. I should mention though that I did one of the things I found "out of place" according to the Apple troubleshooting guide for calendars not synching: I noticed iTunes was not installed. (I cannot remember whether I uninstalled it at a stage, and whether iTunes is really required). I then installed iTunes, and made sure the iTunes ad-in is made active as well, in addition to the iCloud ad-in in Outlook (note that the iCloud ad-in was active all along, it was the iTunes ad-in that was not). I also re-installed the iCloud control panel. I do not want to go the route of re-installing Outlook, since one person on this thread already mentioned that it did not work for him/her. And I am sitting with this problem for almost three weeks now. The Refresh button won't come back and as soon as I open the iCloud control panel, it takes a few seconds and then the "Mail, Contacts, Calendars and Tasks With Outlook" disappears from the control panel and is replced by two messages. The first message reads: "You can access Mail, Contacts, Calendars and Reminders at icloud.com". The second message reads "Use Outlook 2007 or later for icloud mail, calendar, and more. Outlook 2003 and earlier is not supported." I am desparate to get this working. Any help, please please please!

Dec 16, 2013 8:42 AM in response to bullebakby Jerryfromgbr,I'm having similar problems. I am using Outlook 2013, Windows 8.1 and have just updated iCloud to the version that is supposed to work with Windows 8.1. I had the problem before the update, but was hoping that would solve the issue - no chance! iCloud Control Panel did work when I first installed it and after it crashed I was able to fix it by going into ad-ins and re-enabling it. However, the add in and all the icloud features have since all disapeared from Outlook now. I've tried signing out of iCloud Control Panel and signing back in. I've uninstalled the control panel and re-installed it. I've tried going into options>Add-ins where both icloud and itunes are shown as inactive, so I've then (in the same dialogue box) gone into Manage Disabled Ad-Ins and re-enabled both itunes and icloud. That made no difference so I then went into Manage COM Add-Ins and checked the boxes for both itunes and icloud add-ins the rebooted by laptop, but to no avail. Indeed, when I went back into Manage COM Add-Ins, the icloud box was unchecked - I can't get it to stay checked. I am completely lost as what to try next and the Apple Support site is next to useless. If anyone has any other ideas, I'd be glad to read them.

Dec 16, 2013 10:23 AM in response to Jerryfromgbrby Jerryfromgbr,Since writing the above, I've tried something else. I noticed that when I checked the enable iCloud addin, the refresh button and other features reappeared. However, they disappeared everytime I closed down Outlook. I then went into the Registry and changed the programme load code to 3 (load at start up) in two different places. It still doesn't load at start up and it still says "unloaded" and remains unchecked in the Manage COMS Add Ins check box. So, I can make Outlook calendar and contacts sych with iCloud but only if each time I load Outlook I go into Manage COMS Add Ins and check the iCloud box. Frustrating to say the least. Why won't the registry change work - both entries have remained at 3 but the computer is ignoring the code. It's the first time I've attempted to change a registry entry, so I'm now well out of my depth!

Jan 2, 2014 10:18 AM in response to Jerryfromgbrby filmscope,★HelpfulI have been able to overcome this as follows: you need to open Outlook as an Administrator, go to "File" then "Options", "Add-ins" and "Com Add-ins". Locate "iCloud Outlook Add-in". Highlight it and note the exact location of the .dll file which is shown in the bar below. Then, whilst the Add-in is still highlighted select "Remove". Then select "Add" and go the location of the .dll file, the location of which you have noted, left click the file and select "OK". Then re-tick the "iCloud Outlook Add-in" and "OK" and re-start Outlook and the Refresh button should reappear.
