Aperture 3.2 Ignoring Crop Settings

This is bizarre.

I'm seeing artifacts from other images along the outer edges of some photos that I straightened and cropped. Under the Adjustments tab on the left side of the screen, I see that Crop is checked. Here's where it gets weird. If I un-check and then click again to check the box, the crop is rendered correctly.

Any idea what's going on here?

I'm using Aperture 3.2 with the latest version of Lion.

Even more interesting! When I exported the image the first time (above), note how the bottom edge is just black, but in Aperture on my Mac, it looks like this:

Same Issue here, This drives me crazy. I'm totally lost. All pictures looked ok, but after I touch it, they are affected. 10000+ pictures. Please help, any solution?

Have you done the recent updates to Aperture or are you still on 3.2?

I did nothing helped. All previews are ok, but if I would like like to touch image, new preview are generated and crops are totally off. This must be something connected with 3.2 upgrade. Years of my work gone. 😟 I do not have backup of 3.1

That's because you're not seeing the pictures. You're seeing the previews of the pictures, and the previews predate the crop issue. Once you open a photo, you're looking at the picture and, thus, you see the problem.

I gave up trying to fix this. I noticed it only affected a few of my photos (100 maybe, out of thousands). I've been fixing them as I find them. Grrrr...

I do not know how many pictures are affected, but it is realy frustrating situation. I just found one aperture library backup. Aperture asking me to convert library and I'm scared. 😢
