ICloud Apple push has stopped working

I have the exact same issue with my Vista PC.

Any solutions out there yet?

Same issue on Windows 7, 64-bit

Try to remove all the 6 components of iTunes (iTunes, Quicktime, Apple Software update, Apple Application support, Bonjour, Apple Mobile Device Support. That should do the trick 😀

Tried that, but did not work....first time I launched iTunes, I got the Push error.

I had the exact same issue, but believe that I have found a fix - check out this page: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1717

For me, the solution was to close iTunes, go into C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\ and move the folder called 'iTunes' elsewhere. The software automatically generates a new copy of this folder next time you open iTunes, and since then I have not had the issue. Hope this helps!

Apple Push seems to be a part of iCloud. I'm not sure if it has to do with Photostream, Mail, or else.

I do not know the cause of this issue but I have found a workaround on my system (Windows 7).

Browse to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support"

Right-click on APSDaemon.exe

Select the Compatibility tab

Check "Run this program as an administrator"

Thanks Corey this seems to have stopped the "Apple push has stopped working problem", but now I try to logon to ICLOUD and get the message "You cant sign in because of a server error".

If you know of a solution for that, please let us know.

Siberianex, I am not sure if this is related - I've had complete success with Corey's method and can still login to iCloud. Is the issue on your PC/Mac or your iPod/iPhone/iPad?

The issue is when i try to logon to ICloud from my PC-Control Panel, this is when I get the error about the server.

I checked other threads and did a winsocks reset and then a reboot and still have the same issue.

Unfortunately I have not experienced this and so have no solution, but I'll let you know if I come across anything.

Excuse my poor english but here is how to sole this problem :

You just have to delete the file : iTunesPrefs.xml from the folder :

C:\Users\your_user_name\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\iTunes

Run iTunes again and here is it !

I dont know if you advise is for the initial problem or the server error problem. I tried your suggestion for the server error message and it did NOT solve the issue.
