Problems with Score Window

Hi,

Something weird happens with the score...
Example...

A line of flute with appears to be normal between bars 5 and 12...then flute reappears at bar 34 to 41 ...but now this time does not show at the score editor...although the midi information appears at the matrix and the event list window, does not show in te score.....and that happens throughoutly the rest of the score and with other instruments as well.
Of course they are not muted in any way .......

anyone ???

if you have opened a score editor with a number of your objects selected then logic will helpfully create an instrument set with just those instruments. thereafter it will open a score editor (if nothing is selected) with the last instrument set you opened.

you can make sure that the instrument set selected is ALL INST. this might help. i am guessing that you have your flute on another track.

if it really isn't showing then this is behaviour i have not come across, but i can suggested that,for the moment anyway, you cut the midi region somewhere convenient. it may make logic redraw the score entirely and bring up your flute part.

hi .

Logic actually crashes when I change to " ALL INST" . Although I cut it to see if it redraw the page but nothing....

have no idea.....

corrupt song file no question. copy and paste everything over to a fresh song.

do you know any other way to do this ...otherwise i have to set up again all exs24 adn so on which is huge actaully due to it is an orchestral thing ...and big orchestra....

or basically...how to fix a corrupted logic file without doing all that....is something related to different environments ?

i am afraid it is a bit fiddly, and logic doesn't do it very well. also bear in mind the environment might be corrupted

if you open the audio configuration window, you can copy and paste between the 2 songs. ie select all apple-c then in the other song paste and all the bits and audio instruments and settings should copy over. beyong that, i'm afraid there is a fair bit of leg work. don't forget once you have copied over the audio environment to disengage the audio driver, which will make switching between songs a lot faster.
