my ipad won't turn on after hard reset

I put my ipad on my safe quite a year for i was out of the country. Now i charged my ipad for few hours and the apple icon keeps blinking, so i thought to give it another hours but still it won't turn on. i did the hard reset, the power button hold for few seconds but i didnt see the red slider.. i need a help pls....i tried connecting it to my pc thought itunes can help but no usb showing at all..
