iTunes window keeps popping up randomly on my Windows laptop. I've seen many, many complaints about this on the Web, but no one seems to have an answer. thanksndows lap

This started happening after I downloaded the latest iTunes version on my laptop so that I could install IOS 5 on my iPod touch. iTunes just opens randomly no matter what other programs I'm using. Checking with Google, I see references to this issue going back at least 5 years, but I haven't found any solutions. Anyone know what to do about this?

thanks

You need to go under Summary - Options and uncheck "open itunes when this iPhone is connected" the wireless sync detects your phone when itunes is closed and that is causing it to open.

That should hopefully fix that problem but there are many other issues with syncing right now whether wired or wireless. I have to sync 3-4 times to get all podcasts and music to sync, and doing so multiplies all my play counts so it looks like a listened to a song 3 times instead of once. The sync issues are widespread and all over the web, this version of itunes is not good and hopefully they'll be patching it soon.
