I just downloaded ios5 to my 3gs..and 'ok'd iCloud. My Contacts seems to be gone! Got an error saying I'd need to purchase more iCloud space, so I opted against using it. I still can't find my Contacts! Anyone help? (I've resync'd through iTunes..it didn't help)

I think there is a big problem with iTunes 10.5 not syncing - I am assuming you are on windows XP - if your on Vista SP2 or Windows 7 you can download the cloud control panel...
Im in the same boat - cant sync either way to or from outlook now, if i turn off cloud i lose all my contacts and calendar entries as it wont sync to PC - turn cloud back on and they reappear, if it says you need to purchase more cloud space, check the cloud options in the Settings on your phone you may want to turn some off which should free you up some space
