Oct 24, 2011 11:03 AM in response to Gruesomeby nsmithx2,I am getting the same errors. I've tried turning iCloud on and off, I've tried using several different calendars and I can't add appointments to any of them. Any help would be great!

Nov 3, 2011 7:45 AM in response to nsmithx2by flofromsj,I followed an advice in another thread, just delete all apps at the multitask bar then try again with your calendar. Worked for me!

Nov 9, 2011 8:13 AM in response to flofromsjby Daniel Neumayer,This worked for me, also. Who would have thought to try that?
Thanks!

Jan 24, 2012 7:29 AM in response to Gruesomeby kirbchr,To delete tasks off the multitask bar, click the button on the bottom/front of the phone twice quickly. This will dislay just the multitask bar at the bottom of the screen (generally you see Music, Phone, Mail, and Safari here). Then click one of those tasks and you'll see all the items in your multi-task bar start to wiggle. You can scroll across from right to left to see all the apps you still have running, even if you aren't using them. click the X on each of these to close the apss -- this will not delete them from your OS. I did this and am now able to create Calendar events again!

Feb 17, 2012 2:57 PM in response to kirbchrby megacolour,I experienced same problem, but couldn't not get your instructions to work, kirbchr - things didn't wiggle but instead opened. However, i did find another solution that worked for me, via: http://www.utilitap.com/weekcalendar/faq.php?item=ios5saveevent.
They list 3 different ways to fix, but I followed the first of their steps and it worked, re going to settings, calendar, changing default calendar to anything else, then rebooting.

Mar 16, 2013 4:43 PM in response to Gruesomeby Sylvia205,This problem is back on the iPhone5 but this solution offered worked. The Apple phone support reps don't know how to fix it, but this is slick and quick. Better than waiting 5 business days for support to get back to me.
