How to wrap images around objects

I have created a building, a skyscraper, and I would like to rotate around the building before rising to the top and entering a scene through a window. I would like to have a high res image of a city landscape around the building. Is there a way to take a flat image and turn it into a cyllindar so I can put the building inside? That way while I'm moving around the building, there will be no spots in witch the building is not seen in a city.

You can't wrap images on a cylindar in Motion, a there are no 3D cylinders.

Here's what I've done a few times. We got on a roof top, took a series of photos around us, and stitched them together as a panorama in PhotoShop. We then put that in Motion as a 2D layer. We just keyframed it to move side to side as the 3D camera goes around the square object we built.

Letrom you should zip that project up and post it somewhere to share it with the rest of us. "Secret" solutions defeat the purpose of a public support forum.

Wow, that is a fantastic solution, Letrom! That's what I like to see! I'd love to know how you got the image sequence to line up and be static with the Replicator.

I added to it, made it 3D, added a camera, and keyframed it to rotate around. Download this, watch it playback normally in the Canvas first. Then watch it playback by looking at the 3D scene from a Top view.

Seriously dieing to know what steps you took to make the Replicator act like that. Very impressive, man.
