broken wifi
yeah my ipod touch 4gen wont even find wifi networks and i need help iv,e tried everything
iPod touch, iOS 4.2
Could you please list all what you have done so far as I do not want to advice you possible fixes that you have already done.

iv'e tried restoring it and resetting all the settings back normal and nothing works

If wifi is dim or grayed out see:
iOS: Wi-Fi or Bluetooth settings grayed out or dim
Frequently it is due to a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

As Illaass has said if a restore didnt fix it, its time to get an appointment at the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store.

If you are not close to an Apple Store you can either contact Apple Care up and they will ship you a return box and "fix" your iOS device within 2 weeks or so. Or you may take the iOS device to your local Apple Authorized Service Provider (AASP) which you can find out http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1434

i found the problem the ipod's wifi is weak and needs to be really close to a router how do i boost the wifi?
