Changing object arrangement during a presentation.

Hey everyone,

To begin, I am working with Keynote 8. I'm working on a complex series of builds which creates a sort of "turntable effect." The problem is I want to be able to adjust the arrangements of each object (move an object forward or back) during the presentation. Therefore, an object comes up first and then there is a repositioning of the object that was previously in front of it. It seems rather basic, so I assume I'm missing something.

I would appreciate any help!
