Thanks for the feedback. I must have pressed something that makes the changes when i press the space bar. In writing emails, or even while writing this message its taking me time because every press of the space bar the screen goes to my finder screen. I dont know how i guess i really pressed something: the control or option or command or shift.....

did you ever change any setting in your keyboard shortcuts? I'm on Lion.

But try to find the keyboard shortcut command for Move Focus to Next Window. For you it should also show a space bar as the thing that triggers it.

you can choose to uncheck this shortcut or make a new command for it that is less used by yourself.

here it is in lion in system preferences>keyboard>keyboard shortcuts>Keyboard And Text Input

I'll bite. Which app are you hitting spacebar in that changes your page? have you tried looking in it's preferenes to see if that is a shortcut you can toggle off and on? if you are referring to Safari and Preview, what it is doing is moving down a screen and it is a feature of this application and you simply refrain from hitting the space bar if you don't want to move down a screen.

But this is all a guess. give us more information.

I hope this has been helpful.
