Does numbers support macros from .xlsm files?

I have an .xlsm file type created in EXCEL, will Numbers accept the macros in this file? I have not purchased Numbers yet and would like to know the likelyhood that this may work or fail. I do not do a lot of work with EXCEL or Numbers this is a one off for me. Was not looking to waste my money if it would not work correctly.

Thanks.

iPad email does open and view XLSM files (I just tried), And iOS Numbers can open the workbook.

Desktop Numbers does not support Excel Vba macros. But it does support Applescript. therfore if it is a fairly simple macro, and you know how to program, you can recreate the functionality in applescript possibly.

iOS numbers does not support ANY automation. So only the data and formulas given.
