Idle time shutdown

Hi,

I have set our macs to start up and shutdown using MCX. this works well. They are also set to sleep if not used for 30 mins. This however does cause some issues with macs not wakeing up or freezing etc - also if they happen to be sleeping when the shutdown task is ran they don't shutdown!

I am looking for a way to initiate a shutdown if the mac is idle for more than an hour. Is this possible? has anybody managed to put a procedure in place.

Any assistance and advice is much appreciated.

Thanks in advance
