safari 5 flash player plugin - 190% CPU usage

Hello community

Always when I watch a flash movie in Safari 5, the flash player plugin process uses between 170 and 190% of the CPU.

This is the case since some weeks, I guess (might be since the update from Safari 4 to 5). Intressting is that a flash movie played with Firefox doesn't use over 100%.

My System:

  • MacBookPro 8,2
  • Intel Core i7 2.2 GHz
  • 8 GB RAM
  • OS X SnowLeopard 10.6.8 (System is up to date)

Safari:

  • Version 5.1.1
  • Shockwave Flash 11.0 r1
  • Adobe Flash Player Plug-In-Version 11.0.1.152 (most recent)

I have read something about fixing this ishue in Safari 4. To put the Mac to sleep and wake it up should solve this problem, but doesn't with Safari 5.

I also have uninstalled the flashplayer and reinstalled it (original from adobe) and I also have repaired permissions...

What else can be done?

I'm really looking foreward to a solution, thanks to all who help!
