Why does my audio play at double speed with ios5, how do you slow it down?
Also we now can't down load podcasts via iTunes what to do?

Does anyone know? My podcasts playing at double speed. Ios5 on iPhone retains the speed control, cannot locate this on iPad????
I still haven't seen a fix for ths yet. If there is a fix, I haven't found it on this discussion site. The few podcasts that I have are playing fine - but like the rest of you, I cannot find any control to adjust the playback speed on the iPad. Has anyone tried a reset?
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
I don't understand why we don't hear about a fix. My podcast and audiobooks are playing double speed since I upgraded to IOS5 on my ipad2. I restore the ipad and problem not solved.
Can we get an answer to this problem please!!!!
I am also experiencing the same for both podcasts and audiobooks. I spoke to AppleCare and they don't know the answer either and claim not to have heard of this problem. Looks like they are not reading this forum. I've done reset Nd was Los asked to do a restore. None has worked! If anyone finds a solution, I'd be interested. Normal speed on my iMac.
I have been having a similar problem - except (some) podcasts are playing at half speed. I haven't seen a speed control like there is on the iPhone. Odd....
I have looked in the iPad manual,ios5.
There's no speed control as on previous iOS.
Iplayer plays podcasts at the right speed but the music icon is running fast.
