My iPod touch has negative display colors.

So, my sister's iPod Touch has surely had many... misfortunes; screen fractures, exposure to the elements, hardware crashes, et cetera. However, the display recently began to appear as such (I apologize for the quality; this will be justified later):

Interestingly, when I set this under a negative color filter, the damage was made clear to me:

This was, in fact, her regular display; the colors themselves have gone inverted, for whatever reason. Even stranger is when I attempted to screen capture the iPod... see the result below:

It captures it in its original state. Does anyone have an explanation?

Go to Settings>General>Accessability and see if White on Black is turned on. Turn it off.
