OS X 10.6 - Wanting to print pdf brings up Save file dialogue ?

Good morning (or evening) all !

I've not noticed this before and it may be quite correct, but I am trying to print a pdf file on 10.6.8 Server using Acrobat 8.3 ...

When I go Print I get a dialogue box wanting to save a file first before it then prints ?

Not a major drama but I cant remember seeing this before ...
