How can I sync outlook 2003 contacts and calendars to icloud?
I know there is a tool for Outlook 2007 and later, but are there any solutions planned for Outlook 2003??
I am not on an Exchange server.
iPhone 4, Windows 7

Anybody? I can't be alone! maybe I am, and that's why there is no tool for 2003...
is there a way to export? I would even consider a third party like Yahoo calendars or google...
Office 2003 is not supported
You are not alone - it took me two weeks to work out why I could no longer sync my ihpone to my PC and realised it was because Outlook 2003 is not supported. Outlook 2010 will cost me c£100 - I've already spend a fortune on my iphone and new ipad - why on earth do I have to buy a piece of software I do not need in order to be able to sync my calendar wirelessly? It is incredibly annoying. I have tried to sync Outlook 2003 with Google Calendar first - but it just hangs.

You do need new software, yours won't work, a fact that was available to you when you chose iCloud.
Well if that patronising & dismissive misunderstanding tone of voice is indicative of the "help" I can expect from this forum, I won't be coming back.

I interpret your post as complaining about money, not asking for help, bearing in mind that O2003 does not work with iCloud what would you like? a free solution? ....
Download Emclient, it's compatible and it's free.
I too am a long time Outlook 2003 user who has not switched to later versions of Outlook for a variety of reasons. Icloud does not offer enough incentive to make me change my mind about that. There are other syncing solutions (such as Google) which work just fine. If Apple ever decides to support Outlook 2003 I'll take another look. Many users refuse to be forced to ever newer, (not necessarily better) software versions. A service that neglects to support classic versions of software is only a partial service.
So stay where you are, these are your decisions. Office 2003 will not be supported (unless you go to a 3rd party provider, such as DavMail) so you won't be using iCloud for some time. But as you said, iCloud is not the only game, Google works, use that.
You've not got a girlfriend, then Csound1? You are a truly miserable ****.

You could not be farther from the truth if you tried (and clearly you don't try)
Oh don't, Csound1 - you cut me down to size just then...I don't stand a chance against your rapier-like wit.
You bat for the other side then? Bet you still have no luck...
Do something useful, offer a solution to the problem (I see that you don't actually do that at all) Troll.
Mercy! I beg of you - slayer of trolls. I cannot survive much more of your perspicacious & piercing put downs.
My solution would be you perhaps doing something about your personality bypass, pal.
So, I will bid adieu to you, Mr Poo. *bows*
Just as I thought, nothing to offer, but I am happy to see you leave so thanks for making my day a little brighter.
The year of our lord is 2013, which means that outlook 2003 is a decade old, which in technology land is ancient, could be considered prehistoric, and definitely cro-magnum. Upgrade or die in the swill of the lost pages of technology past. Then after you upgrade all will be well, pretty simple really it just costs you money you obviously have been unwilling to part with. Good Luck in the 21st century you are going to need it.
