AirDrop freezes

Hi.

I've recently had my 13" MBP at service at an authorized Apple retail store in Norway, to get a clean install of Lion.

After this I've experienced troubles with AirDrop. When I try accessing AD Finder freezes with weel of death, and I have to force quit Finder.

Anyone else experiencing this? Any tip of what to do?

Model: 2011, 2,7GHz i7 processor, 256SSD.

I've noticed that it is my uni's WiFi network that is the cause of my problems with AD. On my private network it works fine. After Lion build 10.7.2 I can't connect to my uni's network properly, other than with 3rd party browsers (like Opera). It affects a lot of my native apps. Either Safari, Mail, AppStore or AD (probably more apps as well) doesn't work. This is a problem I've addressed the IT department, but I believe it is all in the hands of Cook and the gang.

Hope changing network works for you as well.

I was having the same problem and this is what fixed it for me. Go into your Applications folder and scrole down to your Utilities folder. You'll see an application called Disk Utility. Open that up and once it loads up, in the left box, highlight Macintosh HD or whatever you named your hard drive. Then in the right box, make sure the "First Aid" tab is selected. Below that you should see 3 buttons you can click on. Click on the one that says "Repair Disk Permissions" and wait for it to finish. Depending on how much data you have on the drive, it will take about 15 - 20 minutes to complete. but what this does is scans through all the core files and makes sure they all are doing what they are supposed to do and if any are currupted / writen wrong, it will repace it with what's supposed to be there. Hope this helped.
