Hi all, I currently use MobileMe with my iPhone/iPad using OS5 talking to my iMac intel core2 running OX10.6.8 and my old G4 Powerbook running OX10.5.8. I want to upgrade to lion so I can make the change to iCloud. Can I install Lion on the PB or use iCloud with the OS10.5.8. Or will all my iCal/contacts and email cross pollination colapse?
No you can't install Lion on the G4 PB, nor can you use iCloud on it.

To add to Terrence's remarks, 10.5.8 is as far as you can go with your G4 PPC PowerBook.
So if I install Lion on the iMac and run iCloud on the iMac/iPad/iPhone, the PowerBook will drop off and won't talk to the others? So if I want to use iCloud the PowerBook has to go?

Not unless you have some other usage for it. Remember it will be the only Mac you have that'll run PPC programs.
