IPhone 4s bluetooth not working

I think I am not the only one. Blue tooth not working on iPhone 4s. Have tried reset network settings, no joy. Never had bluetooth problems before. Have tried connecting to iMac, Ipad, other brands of phones, nothing works.

So you are saying while driving you cannot talk to anyone in the car? Or how about if I am a passenger and I want to use the car's bluetooth to talk to someone? Thats not allowed too?? Just FYI, in AZ talking on the phone is not illegal.

On another note, do you know that even THINKING while driving is dangerous? How do you intend to stop that?

Just acknowledge that there is a problem with latest update and work on how to fix it. Rather than justifying the problem.

I purchased a new 2012 Sonata. I HAD an iPhone 4S that refused to remain connected to the BT in the car. I took the phone to the Genius Bar at least 5 times. They swapped out the phone and the problem remained. I read the posts and killed SIRI. The phone worked for about an hour, then crashed.

The problem I had was the phone would sync with the car. I could even make a call or two, and even receive a call or two. Then the phone would crash. The only way to restore services was to reset the phone. I use my phone a lot for my work, I also drive a lot for work. So, having reliable BT is mandatory.

Finally, one of the Geniouses at an Apple Store told me the Apple 4S was not certified to work with my car.

The next day, I went to the ATT Store and purchase a new Nokia, with Windows 7.5. It worked perfectly. I could make calls, recieve calls, and I never, ever had any problems. Shortly afterwards, the new Samsung Galaxy S III was released. I traded in the Nokia (within 30 days). I've had the Samsung for about two months? It has worked perfectly. It works with rental cars, my wife's Hyundai, my Hyundai; it never crashes, never fails to answer calls, never crashes, . . . .

It also has a large screen, it is great to read emails/books/Internet searches. I also has built-in capabilities to teather other devices to the Internet on 4g!

I gave my wife my iPhone and I've never looked back.

Problem resolved.

The problem here is that the Philosophy is that you have to do everything through itunes, so they have control of all the files you load and unload from your phone. Steve Jobs wanted to control averything and charge for everything as well. He done a very good job, they make fortunes charging for stuff that should be free, but for some reason people don't want to see the reality and looks that there are too many ignorants out there that think the iphone it's the only smart phone on the market.

I understand fanatics, but many people it's not fanatic, they are really ignorants. As soon as you say something is not that good on an apple device, thay just turn aggressive like it's nothing better, but many people know they are options.

BCboy, it's not simple, wake up

I have to live with my iphone for work (it's free), I would love to be able to have a Galaxy III, but it's not possible. At home I use my wife's Galaxy and it's great. Have you tried all the options on the Galaxy's camera?

Don't get me wrong, I think the iphone it's a great phone, and I really hope Apple one day opens up and give us some more freedom with their products. I have nothing against the iphone (only a few small things), I was talking about the way Apple does business and tries to make a monopoly. Microsoft tried that and didn't work, and Apple has the same mentality, to me it's like a waste, as Apple had great ideas during the years and because that mentality Microsoft was ahead in the early 80's, then with the ipod, iphone and ipad, Apple came back, but now they are losing market, and I really hope microsoft doesn't win this again, looks impossible but to me Apple products are a lot better than Microsoft and always were, but again the way they do business is not the best.

I post in all the forums, showing people the good a the bad, no company or product is perfect and we are all different.

I've used the IIIS extensively. Don't like it any more than I've liked any other Samsung Android I've used, which is to say, when work has given me one for free, I put it in a drawer and use my personal iPhone. I much prefer HTC's flavor of Android.

After reading couple of users' reviews regarding the GIII I have to admit that I feel like I hadn't done my homework before having signed a 2-year long contract for the iPhone 4S. There is a world of smart phones out there and Apple with its last iOS6 performance is prooving everyone should check what the options are, instead of just going for it thinking there's nothing there worth thinking about...

I personally consider Samsung as one of the best makers or LCD/LED computer monitors and, let's call it, TV's. I did have one Samsung mobile phone before and I was not entirely happy with it, which a bit put me off when getting the iPhone 4S. Seems like they're back in business providing an alternative to monopolised iTunes based smartphones very difficult to "socialize" with other gadgets (i.e. bluetooth connection). I may be the only person in the world but if Google Maps don't come back as the app (even the paid one) I'll get rid of my 4S and get something that is friendly with Google Maps...

Dear Apple,

*** is the point of having bluetooth is we cant fkn use it with non iPhones or even our own MBP? Wake the fck up and fix this problem once and for all. We have spent thousands buying your products and yet we cant connect them all together so that we can at least transfer files from one device to another. Currently i'm privately posting images to facebook from my iPhone, then opening up Facebook on my MBP and downloading the image that way. All because you can't fkn work out that we all need our devices to communicate with eachother. Aren't you rich enough from all the over priced devices that we buy to get this fkn **** sorted???? Money hungry ****.

Regards,

A ****** off consumer.

The cuestion is, it's forum work?, because while we have been reporting the issues! and nothing for part the Apple!... .....

This is not the correct venue for reporting issues. This is a user to user technical support forum. Apple doesn't participate here. If you want to let Apple know about your issues with BT, use the feedback link:
