Scrolling Performance in Large Spreadsheets

I have a large, but data-simple, spreadsheet that stretches over 30 printed pages. Essentially, it is a large list of tasks with calculated identification columns for film production.

I have found that trying to scrolling through the document causes Numbers to, literally, become unusable. We will get the spinning wheel of death and have to wait about 10 or more seconds between each input of a scroll event (gesturing up or down on a track pad). The only way to restore Numbers to working order is to quit it and re-open the document. I get the same effect on three different Macs (a brand-new, top-of-the-line iMac, a 2 year old 17" MBP, and a 3 year old Pro workstation).

I'd be perfectly willing to give a copy of the document over to the engineers so they can see for themselves.
