Iphone 4s cannot connect to my PC

I connect it to my computer with the cable that I got and it instals the hardware or whatever but when I got to Itunes I got this message "This Iphone cannot be used because the Apple Mobile Device service is not started" so I go look for a solution online. It tells me to got to admin tools/service/apple mobile device. Tells me to highlight it and click start, when I do it starts the process but then it stops and gives me the error "Windows could not start the Apple Mobile Device service on Local Computer. Error 1067: The Process terminated unexpectedly."

So I check and people that have had that problem say to uninstall everything Apple on your computer and restart it. So I go ahead and uninstall everything apple on my computer and restart it. I turn it back on and instal the latest Itunes and reconnect my IPhone 4s to the computer.

This time it actually recognizes my Iphone. So I run Itunes and it says "This Iphone cannot be used because the required software is not installed. Run the Itunes installer to remove iTunes then instal the 64-bit version of Itunes." I go ahead and uninstall Itunes and re-instal the latest 64-bit version thinking my problems are over. Nope when I reinstall Itunes, the computer no longer recognizes my Iphone and the same problems reoccurre.

Anyone have any idea to what it is I am supposed to do? I have spent 4 hours on this **** and I am about to flip a *****.
