HP 7110 and Lion, no driver

my G5 bit the big one and i bought a new iMac. when i hooked it up to my HP all in one (7110) i get the message of driver is not compatible. when i go to the HP page, it says to use Apple Software update for update to lion.

When i do the ASU, i get message all software is up to date. the printer is plugged in, and i can use a genereic driver to print, but i have lost my scanning function and it is clearly not the driver for HP7110.

all i have found so far in forums are dated back to July about full software coming out in a few weeks. i think we are past that now. any ideas?
