How to remove a net-worm win kido virus?

Hey,

I'm hoping somebody can help me out with this issue. I have the 2011 version of Kaspersky for Mac installed onto my Macbook, and everytime I run the scan the AV detects are threat called net-worm.win32.kido (jwgkvsq.vmx file) but will not disinfect or delete it. It will delete it for the time being but once I re-run the scanner, it detects it again. I found the file called RECYCLER that is infected and have tried to delete the infected folder into the trash but everytime I empty the trash I can a message that says "The operation cannot be completed because you do not have sufficient privileges for some of the items". I have tried pressing the option button while emptying the trash, but it doesn't work. I have right clicked to ensure the file is not locked, which it isn't. I have tried to find a solution in the support section for my AV, but there is nothing listed, nor is there on the web. I have read in a thread on the Apple Community that you shouldn't worry if you encounter this because it is a windows virus and can apparently do no harm to the Mac OS, but it's very annoying that it keeps popping up in the virus scan and the folder itself has been sitting in the trash can and stubbornly will not delete. I encountered this annoying file when my boyfriend popped his flash drive into my Macbook (he has Windows). I have been searching everywhere how to get rid of this thing and I am having no luck, I really hope someone can help who is more knowledgable than myself with regards to this matter.

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.5.8)
