iTunes U will only play audio, not video

On my macbook pro, iTunes U videos will not show up but I can still hear the audio. It works perfectly fine on my PC. Is there any reason for this? I have tried opening the file with Quicktime player, Quicktime 7, and various players but still only get audio. It is a powerpoint video by the way; ___.ppt.mov. Is there any way to fix this? Thank you.
