IPad Keyboard Up/Down/Left/Right keys. Is there any way to add them to the keyboard?

Question

IPad Keyboard Up/Down/Left/Right keys. Is there any way to add them to the keyboard?

Hard to believe, but those keys are missing from the IPad keyboard, and it makes typing pretty difficult. Is there any way to add new keys?

Again, you will get used to it. Just push the screen up and down to flip back and forth from the top to the bottom. I am actually liking it now. Except for spreadsheets. My finger is just not precise enough for those little cells.

I would bet at some point they do something about arrows. It has been a fairly constant complaint on these forums since day 1. But for now, i guess they have bigger fish to fry.

I did by a keyboard because i wanted arrows. But i find i almost never use it.

It is hard to get used it because when I go to discussion forums, I cannot arrow-down to the bottom of a message, so if the message I reply to, is loger than say 20 lines, I cannot reply to it unless I delete enough lines to see the bottom on the first page.

When you quote a post, you CANNOT get to the bottom, unless you delete the top first. That's the problem. Smaller posts are OK, because the bottom is visible, but bigger posts are a problem, because you can't get to the end. It is not possible to push the text up and down inside the message box.

Even this box would probably have the same problem if you filled it with text. You would not be able to push it up and down, because the entire page would move, but the text would not.

The short answer is no. You will get used to it.

The longer answer is that you can use a bluetooth keyboard that has arrow keys. Keep in mind, though, that even if you do, the arrows only work for moving around within an input field or text box. To navigate around a page, you are still using your finger.

If you are using pages, the whole page is an input field, so you can arrow yourself all you want. Numbers, on the other hand, to move from cell to cell, you need to use your finger, but within a cell, the arrows work.
