iPad iOS update stuck on "find my iPad"

My wife updated her iPad today to the new iOS. It went smoothly,

but now the iPad is stuck on "find my iPad" screen during initial restart after the upgrade. She did select "use iCloud"' so is it stuck doing something with the iCloud? It's been stuck there for 3 hours now. Please help.
