How do I connect a midi keyboard to my mini. Can I use any of the USB ports or...........?

Yes, use a Midi to USB cable.

Some MIDI devices have a USB port on them, in which case you can use that. Other devices will require a MIDI to USB interface, which can either be a cable or a switch box that can handle two or more MIDI channels, including input, output, and passthrough.
