my phone crashing

My iPhone 4S crashed too. I was listening to Bloomberg Radio while using other apps, email, games, etc, then I locked the screen with the Radio still on. When I went back to unlock it and turn off the radio, the phone was unresponsive 😟. The locked screen did nothing after swiping it, the home and power buttons did nothing to darken it. After pressing the power button for a long time the screen turned black and a frozen version of the thinking wheel in the middle appeared. The screen still looks like that since 8:45AM.

When I arrived at work, I plugged the phone to the power outlet thinking maybe it was the battery, nothing changed. And last, I removed the SIM card and inserted it back. Still nothing changed.

I'm not sure what it is, but this is the first time I used the Bloomberg Radio app on this phone. Could it be the app? My phone has been unresponsive for 2 hours now. Please help...

Never mind, I rebooted the phone by holding the home and power button at the same time and it worked!!!! 🙂 I'm a happy iPhone 4S user again.

You won't be when it crashes again!!! lol

As it turns out it was an old app that crashed and froze the screen. Once the phone was reset and the app uptaded, the problem was solved.

I've had that device for 2 years now, it works like a charm and even faster now with the iOS7. I will forever be a happy iPhone 4S user.
